Jennifer Manley, VP of Government and Community Affairs, Queens Library, Jamaica, NY, will be recognized today with 11 others today as a White House "Champion of Change." The event will focus on libraries and museums who make a difference for their neighborhoods and for the nation. Jen is representing Queens Library’s work in community-building and supporting immigrants. The event is being streamed live at 4 pm today,www.whitehouse.gov/live.

The Champions of Change program was created as an opportunity for the White House to feature groups of Americans – individuals, businesses and organizations – who are doing extraordinary things to empower and inspire members of their communities.
